Owen Brown scores at the World CupSpaciotempo’s sister company, Owen Brown – a leading supplier of top quality temporary structures for events – was appointed by the England Football Association to supply temporary structures to house the England Team Media Centre at their training camp iThe 6 structures, from the company’s Absolute and Ultimate ranges manufactured by Spaciotempo, featured the striking Eclipse curved roof profile which ensured they stood out from the crowd during the event. They were used to house the main broadcasting area and kitchen facilities. In addition, the company – as part of the GL Group’s main overlay contract – was asked to supply FIFA with 15,000sqm of temporary structures which were split between the nine sites and used as fan zones, refreshment areas and retail outlets. Some 10 workers flew to South Africa to complete the project. FA Director of Communications Adrian Bevington said: 'We're absolutely delighted with the standard of service; once again Owen Brown have supplied a superb facility for the World Cup'.
