Flexible and relocatable living space for SID

The structure, which was required in a short delivery period, required high acoustic and thermal resistance as well as a robust design and flexibility in use. The ability to swap between accommodation, office and catering space to differing dimensions was a pre-requisite, along with the need for the semi-permanent building to be highly secure.

Spaciotempo supplied a building of 350 sq m with metal framed insulated flooring, a double skinned roof and insulated cladding. Air conditioning and heating packages were supplied as well as interior partitions - enabling SID to personalise the interior layout. The Living Base unit was built to withstand the harshest of terrains and climates, whilst fully complying with British and European safety standards for structural integrity, fire and safety codes.
