Temporary Building Enables M&S to Continue Trading

Bowmer Kirkland construction group were contracted to replace sections of the existing roof and add a second floor to the Marks & Spencer Store in Weybridge, Surrey .

Requirement:
During this major refurbishment project it was important that Marks & Spencer could continue trading and therefore required a temporary retail facility while the work was carried out.

Solution:
The 375m2 aluminium framed unit supplied by Spaciotempo consisted of steel reinforced UPVC cavity walling, and a double skinned air filled roofing system ensuring a high degree of insulation and minimal condensation. It also featured a lighting and heating system, as well as a vinyl floor, specially designed for retail applications.

Benefit:
Thanks to the high quality of the building provided by Spaciotempo, Marks & Spencer were able to continue trading at the store without any disruption to the customers.
