Spaciotempo’s temporary warehouse helps Bents Garden & Home to grow

With an ambitious £10m expansion programme getting underway, award-winning garden centre Bents Garden & Home centre in Cheshire had a number of changes to make earlier this year.

The number one priority was to find extra storage for its stock, including garden furniture, compost and gift items, following the demolition of an existing warehouse as groundworks started and with a busy summer season in full swing.

The garden centre’s solution was to order a 300sqm temporary structure from Spaciotempo’s Tempastor range, complete with tough uPVC wall panels and a double-skinned thermo roof.

It took just one week for us to erect the building at the beginning of June and it wasn’t long before the warehouse was filled with stock, ready for the weeks ahead.

The warehouse will be in place for the next 12 months as work continues, offering what Scott Jameson, director of sales for Spaciotempo, described as a perfect solution for Bents.

He said: “Many expansion projects involve a great deal of upheaval and require contingencies to replace facilities that have had to make way for new works.

“The speed with which we were able to respond to their order by delivering a building that Bents could use within days demonstrates how we provided the perfect solution to their current need for extra on-site storage.”
