The summer may have only just begun, but everyone at Spaciotempo has already had an extremely busy first half of 2016, as we have continued to play an important role in a number of diverse and exciting projects, which have taken us all over the country across a number of different business sectors.
One of the most interesting projects we have completed already is the installation of a temporary building for Cambridge University, which protected an excavation site for an archaeological dig. You probably saw the resulting coverage detailing the discovery of Britain’s ‘Pompeii’, one of the most preserved Bronze Age dwellings ever found,’ at Must Farm in Cambridgeshire. In addition, Spaciotempo has made important inroads into the Irish distribution market and supplied products to a diverse range of businesses throughout the UK including, Husqvarna, Kuehne+Nagel, Greenvale, and North Kent Distribution – not to mention supplying retractable tunnels to a number of industrial and leisure customers including Premier League champions Leicester City Football Club.
The perfect opportunity to display the versatility of our products and solutions will take place at this year’s IMHX. The exhibition is promising to be as memorable as ever, and at Spaciotempo we are planning something very different. We will be announcing full details of our exhibition very soon, but for now we can reveal that it will be our biggest and most interactive exhibit to date, and will certainly provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the benefits that temporary buildings can provide for businesses looking to maximise space and improve efficiencies.
Why should you attend IMHX this year?
It’s fair to say the logistics industry has never been busier, nor has it ever been such an important part of UK industry. It’s worth over £55 billion to the UK economy, employing 1.7 million people. And as the eCommerce market continues to go from strength to strength, and manufacturing businesses continue to adjust their business models to cope with increased demand for immediate products, the logistics sector is going to become even busier. IMHX brings together various parts of the supply chain, giving delegates the perfect opportunity to meet suppliers face to face, discuss their challenges and find solutions.
At the Spaciotempo stand – that’s 11N11 – we will be showing people how our temporary buildings provide immediate solutions to even the most difficult supply chain problems. Our experienced team will be available to talk to you about your challenges, and you’ll be able to see how we are helping businesses in a variety of sectors to better maximise their space. We’ll also be giving out our free white paper, which analyses the current lack of warehouse space in the UK, and puts forward suggestions of how we can overcome this.
Who else is going?
The previous IMHX exhibition, which was held in 2013, was attended by 19,500 visitors, with 77% of attendees stating that visiting IMHX would influence their buying decisions – and £94 million worth of orders attributed to buyers visiting the show. It’s become a pivotal part of the Spaciotempo calendar, closely followed by Multimodal exhibition, which proved to be one of our most successful trade shows ever, earlier this year.
As IMHX draws nearer, we are working hard on our stand for the show and can guarantee that this year, our exhibit will feature something which has never been seen on this platform before. Want to know more? Come and visit us on stand 11N11.
