    ## Supplying the UK's first Oxygen installation with materials built to withstand Scotland's harsh weather and faster winds.

The semi-permanent building had to meet three requirements; be secure, protect the equipment from the weather and link to Greenvale's permanent building.

  ## Requirement

 

Greenvale are the largest grower of fresh potatoes in the UK. When our Scottish Area Sales Manager Natalie visited their site, Greenvale’s Packaging Manager, Daniel Romaines explained that they needed constant access to their permanent building to support their production flow line.

So, Natalie worked alongside our in-house design team to come up with a solution. We decided the best option was to install a link directly from their permanent building into our temporary one.

### The first of its kind

We provided Greenvale AP with the first Oxygen temporary building in the UK measuring, 20m by 30m on a 6m eave.

The building benefits from a dome shaped thermo roof, which enables any snow threatening to stick around to fall off and not settle, ideal in remote areas of Scotland.

### Site specific structural calculations

Furthermore, our Oxygen temporary buildings are structurally calculated to withstand wind speeds of up to 28 metres per second. In Duns, windspeed can reach up to 25 metres per second but this can be higher – up to 28mps.

Every Spaciotempo installation comes with comprehensive calculations as standard that are specific to the site they're being installed, meaning they'll withstand snow and wind loading based on the physical site location, and conform to British and European safety standards.
