The semi-permanent storage building would allow them to achieve these goals whilst improving operational efficiency. ## The solution By consolidating their [storage & distribution](https://www.spaciotempo.co.uk/temporary-buildings/warehouse) on the same site, Spaciotempo are helping IPN meet their future growth plans. (01) ### Two Phase Installation ![Between build phases of the semi permanent storage building](/uploads/generic/Case-Studies/Inspired-Pet-Nutrition/_1246x625_crop_center-center_none/Between-build-phases-of-the-semi-permanent-storage-building.jpg) Through a clear end-to-end project management plan, in line with the business continuity objectives of the client and allowing them to continue trading, Spaciotempo crafted a work schedule that involved completing the permanent warehouse in two build phases. Phase one wrapped with a completely sealed 40m x 60m building and was used by IPN until we went back to site to extend the warehouse by a further 30m length. Between these phases, the existing cladded gable is removed and the new frame is raised in 5m increments to provide all the strutural integrity you would expect from a Spaciotempo building. Once the insulated roof is inflated, there is absolutely no sign the building has been modified at all. In total, it took just 7 weeks to complete both phases, with little to no disruption or downtime. ![Decorative blurred photo](/dist/images/cs-details-blur-lg.png) (02) ### Immediate Spatial Relief Before working with Spaciotempo on this project, Inspired Pet Nutrition had no choice but to outsource as much as 1/3rd of their 15,000 total pallet inventories to off-site storage facilities and this was costing them a fortune, whilst becoming increasingly difficult to effectively control their stock. Through clear two-way communication, they quickly learnt that Spaciotempo could meet their exact requirements and more, providing expand and flex infrastructure for them to bring all storage in house as well as distribute all goods directly from their main production facilities in Thirsk. (03) ### True Building Innovation ![Spaciotempo Z Flashing](/uploads/generic/Case-Studies/Inspired-Pet-Nutrition/_1246x625_crop_center-center_none/Spaciotempo-Z-Flashing.jpg) This was one of the first projects where we have deployed the Z Flashing System for the client. The solution seals around the entire perimeter of the building, except for access points, to completely seal the structure from both rainwater and vermin. It is particularly effective on sites where the ground naturally slopes, and water would otherwise flow into the building.
