They required a fast-turnaround solution that could accommodate high volumes of cross-docking activity, while maintaining temperature control and allowing safe, efficient vehicle loading in all weather conditions. Next ## The solution Spaciotempo delivered two purpose-built modular structures for MM Freight, both tailored to meet the operational needs of their Craigavon depot. The first structure provided an immediate uplift in chilled cross-docking capacity, while the success of this installation led to the commissioning of a second, larger facility — further increasing throughput and long-term site capability. (01) ### Phase 1: 414m² Temporary Warehouse ![IMG 4971 1](/uploads/generic/_1246x625_crop_center-center_none/17854/IMG_4971-1_2025-05-19-113033_sydl.jpg) The initial 414m² building was installed in just one week and included a 1.5m canopy extension and integrated dock leveller, enabling weather-protected loading and safe, efficient movement of goods. Designed to operate as a chilled distribution hub, the structure was quickly integrated into MM Freight’s daily workflow and became a vital component of their site operations. ![Decorative blurred photo](/dist/images/cs-details-blur-lg.png) (02) ### Phase 2: Expansion Through a Second, Larger Structure ![IMG 4951](/uploads/generic/_1246x625_crop_center-center_none/17849/IMG_4951.jpg) Following the smooth delivery and strong performance of the first building, MM Freight commissioned a second 825m² facility to expand their capabilities even further. This larger structure included multiple dock doors, a thermo-insulated blackout roof, and a covered mini canopy to maintain year-round protection. An 8m-wide insulated tunnel was installed to connect both buildings, allowing seamless internal movement between the two units and supporting high-volume, chilled logistics on site. (03) ### Outcome Spaciotempo completed both builds on time, on budget and to specification, enabling MM Freight to scale their logistics infrastructure without disruption. Today, the two modular structures are a permanent fixture of MM Freight’s operations in Craigavon, supporting a chilled cross-docking and distribution system that plays a key role in their national supply chain.
