Previously, the company relied on external storage solutions, incurring high transportation costs and frequent damage to stock. Exposure to harsh weather conditions led to significant losses, while ongoing transportation costs added further financial strain. Next ## The solution The project, initially planned in 2016, faced delays due to the need to determine the optimal on-site location. Once finalised in 2022, the completed 1,820sqm warehouse provided ample storage capacity, ensuring the longevity of pallet inventory while significantly reducing external logistics expenses. A stepped frame was implemented to work around these obstacles, increasing the warehouse’s usable space—something that would have been challenging with a traditional build. This enabled the client to store inventory at greater heights, optimising space efficiency. Additionally, the Neivalu A-frame structure was fitted with two roller shutter doors for seamless forklift access and an advanced electrical heating system to maintain optimal internal conditions. *“The additional space provided by the Spaciotempo warehouse will help to future proof the Alloa site by increasing our onsite storage and reducing our transport movements.
