Jaguar Land Rover – Crisis Response & Disaster Recovery – Temporary Car Showroom

REQUIREMENT:

Disaster struck when fire broke out overnight at Inchcape Jaguar Land Rover in Preston, Lancashire. Crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service worked tirelessly through the night to quell the flames and thankfully no one was hurt in the incident. However, the business was forced to close immediately whilst investigations were ongoing.

SOLUTION:

Inchcape JLR found themselves in desperate need of a temporary car showroom to continue trading whilst work was carried out to repair the fire damaged building.

Seeking a crisis management solution, they began their search for replacement temporary facilities, and it didn’t take long for them to land on Spaciotempo, whom the client has worked with on several past projects. Often with the sale and hire of temporary buildings, the sales cycle can take months or even years as projects are put on hold or complications arise due to so many moving parts.

However, Spaciotempo pride themselves on their reaction times and demonstrated their market leading capabilities to fast track the temporary building solution for the client. With all Spaciotempo hire stock stored at our Midlands HQ ready for immediate nationwide installation, we were able to commence work right away and get the dealership back trading within a little over a month, from the moment of disaster to handing the keys over.
