Ainscough Properties – Industrial –  Warehousing

REQUIREMENT:

With demand for large-scale warehousing outstripping supply, commercial landlords, Ainscough Properties approached Spaciotempo to install 2555 sqm of additional warehouse space at their Eco Business Park at Swinton near Manchester, ready for their customer Carlick Furniture to move in. Having initially considered a permanent warehouse facility, Ainscough were very impressed with Spaciotempo’s competitive price, rapid install and highly bespoke temporary warehouse designs.

SOLUTION:

Part of the family owned Ainscough Group, Ainscough Properties needed secure, high quality warehousing space for its customer, Carlick Furniture. Group Property Director, Anthony Ainscough takes up the story: “We knew we needed a big building, capable of holding a large amount of stock. Initially we looked at a permanent building – but when we saw what we could get from Spaciotempo at a fraction of the cost of a permanent building, there was no contest.”

In this case, solid gables have added to the robust solution, and because we were able to provide a bespoke size with internal racking up to an 11m apex, the storage capacity is excellent.” 

The addition of a large loading canopy, linked onto the temporary warehouse entrance created even greater versatility for the customer, Carlick Furniture, providing a weather proofed area where stock can be loaded and unloaded safely without the risk of stock damage.
