Spaciotempo puts people and customer service first in 2017
As more and more businesses are affected by a shorting of warehouse space, or turn to temporary buildings as a short term storage solution in an uncertain market, Spaciotempo has seen customer demand increase year on year over the last 5 years. So much so that 11 new members of staff have been recruited across all areas of the business to help meet demand as we enter 2017.
The only company in the UK to manufacture and install its own structures, Spaciotempo has always taken pride in the quality of its structures and invests heavily in new product and the best, most innovative product for its customers. In 2016, the company invested £4m in new product innovations, including the launch of the Oxygen temporary building which combines high-end aesthetics with robust construction. And the range of new and enhanced product continues, including new LED energy efficient lighting, a wider range of doors and window options for customers in different sectors, HVAC, and an improved and quick to install guttering system. The focus across the board, is on offering customers greater choice, saving them money and time, and ensuring quicker installations.
Scott Jameson, Managing Director, commented: “In the last year, Spaciotempo has seen its hire fleet grow by 10 percent. This means more structures out on customer site, and more customers asking for a wider range of solutions, as confidence in the versatility of temporary structures increases. We have a reputation for quality and reliability so our customers have come to expect this from us as standard. It is something that sets Spaciotempo apart from our competitors. We are now delighted to be able to repay our customers’ loyalty by offering them greater choice and more options, meaning that temporary buildings can offer solutions in more sectors, and for more applications. And to cope with increased customer demand, we have expanded both our operations and support teams for 2017 by 11 new team members, to make this year the best year yet for our customers.
“It is critical for Spaciotempo that we can continue to meet the demands of our customers and install our structures to meet the timescales demanded by their business. It is also crucial that we continue to install all our structures with our own dedicated and highly trained installation teams. For this reason, we have increased our operations workforce to have a minimum of eight installation teams out there, nationwide across UK and Ireland every week. We also felt it a priority to separate aftersales service and care from the day-to-day operations and have set up a dedicated department now wholly focused on supporting our customers from the completion of an installation and for as long as they need us.
And to make sure that everything runs smoothly back at base, we’ve also increased capacity in our in-house CAD design department, marketing team and sales support teams.
Scott concluded: “2016 was a great year for Spaciotempo, winning contracts with many recognisable companies such as Pinewood Studios, Countrywide Farmers, Kuehne & Nagel, Thorpe Park and many more. We’ve worked with schools, airports, ports, manufacturers, logistics and catering companies and installations have been tailor-made to requirements by our in-house design team. What is clear is that there is an emerging picture evolving where companies, whatever the sector, see semi permanent buildings as a real, cost effective and sustainable option to increase space. We are confident more and more will follow their lead, especially if rental costs continue to rise and warehouse space continues to be in short supply.”
