Spaciotempo Grows Once Again

Congratulations to Tony, Daz, Dan and Charlie!

Spaciotempo are pleased to announce the promotion of Tony Farley from Sales Manager to Sales Director and Daniel Barker from Area Sales Manager to Sales Manager.

Over the past 10 years Tony has worked his way up through the sales team. Starting as Area Sales Manager he has grown and developed through the sales team as the company has expanded. In Tony’s new role he will be taking this development to the next level and be focusing his attention to further commercial development and growing the Spaciotempo name.

Dan Barker, has been with Spaciotempo for just over 6 years, where he started as a Commercial Trainee. He then worked his way up to Area Sales Manager and for the past 3 years has been involved in significant growth in his Midlands territory. Dan’s new role as Sales Manager will see him managing the day to day performance of the External Sales team. Supporting them as they strive towards their various business performance targets. As he transitions into his new role he will still be managing a small geographical area while also focussing his energy on his new position.

“Tony and Dan have been a pleasure to work alongside, with their consistent commitment to the company and passionate sales skills. Tony and I started working at Spaciotempo at the same time almost 10 years ago, and it has been a journey to say the least, through many changes within the company.  Tony is very supportive and likes to keep the mood in the office light but professional at the same time. As for Dan, I am very proud, that he has done so well. His enthusiasm towards the job is amazing and he always brightens up the office with his humour. We are all very happy for them both and look forward to supporting them in their new roles.” Teresa Parkes, Sales Co-ordinator, Retractable Tunnels.

“Right from the start when Dan first joined us a as a young, fresh faced commercial trainee he has been a well-liked member of the team. His easy-going manner and friendly approach has meant our customers warm to him instantly. His promotion has been hard earned and is well deserved in my opinion. Tony Farley, well what can I say “Spaciotempo Stalwart” Tony has a true belief that we are the best at what we do and strives to ensure that we as a team live up to this. I wish him every success in his new role.” Sara Arrowsmith, Project Co-ordinator.

Within the Spaciotempo Operations team, congratulations to Daz Logan from Operations Manager to Operations Director and Charlie Tavernor from Senior Site Manager to Operations Delivery Manager.

During the past 5 years, Daz has implemented protocols that have significantly improved Spaciotempo’s efficiency. He has also driven cost savings, improved quality and developed a growing Operational team. His new role as Operations Director will be looking more strategically at how Spaciotempo develops operational delivery.

Charlie has been with Spaciotempo for 15 years, starting as building installer to the position of Senior Site Manager. He has offered extensive and invaluable technical advice to all who required it and has significantly improved the standard of project delivery.

The introduction of the Operations Delivery Manager (ODM) role represents the start of the restructuring of Spaciotempo’s Operations department.  As Charlie takes on this new and exciting role he will be responsible for the successful delivery of all operational aspects, in accordance with the overall business strategy, plan and policies.

“Charlie and Daz have been amazing in their respective roles, it is a pleasure to work alongside them. They are always there for support, easy to get along with and happy to help anyone who needs it. I am really pleased for them that they have been given the opportunity and have been offered these promotional roles. As a team, we are looking forward to working with Charlie more on a day to day basis within the office; while also still having the fantastic support and advice from Daz. As a team, we wish them both the best of luck in their new positions and huge congratulations!” Sarah Hall, Operations Assistant.

Welcome to Tim Black-Roberts and Thomas Vinall

Following these promotions, we have also expanded our sales team once again to include six Sales Area Managers across the UK and Ireland.

After gaining many years’ experience in Sales and Business Development Management, Tim Black-Roberts joins us to manage geographical area two, covering Leicestershire, the East of England and the South M1 Corridor into North London. “The opportunity as Area Sales Manager at Spaciotempo sets me new challenges. I’m very encouraged by Spaciotempo as a company and am looking forward to adding my experience to the already successful business. My recreation time is mainly centred around sports, predominately football with being an avid Derby County fan.”

Also, joining our expanding sales team is Thomas Vinall. He has spent 8 years in the construction industry and dealt with pretty much everything required apart from temporary buildings. To add that final string to his bow he will be representing Spaciotempo and managing geographical area three. This covers the East Midlands, Manchester, Merseyside and the M1 North into Yorkshire. “I am generally a pretty laid back character, I enjoy playing and watching sports particularly Liverpool FC and boxing. I love eating spicy food, and having a few cold ones where possible. I’ve been married nearly 7 years and we have a 3-year-old daughter and a 2 year old son.”
