In instances where our carbon steel base plates can be anchored directly to existing hard standing ground meaning then generally, no groundworks are required because of the lightweight yet durable qualities of the metal.

Yes, temporary buildings can be insulated naturally using our wall panels up to 40mm thick or by adding specialised HVAC systems. These components can be installed to help regulate temperature and reduce heating or cooling costs, making the space comfortable and usable in all seasons whilst helping your business save on their energy bills.

No. We will always carry out a site visit – wherever in the country you are based – to look at all the factors affecting your building, before we provide you with a quote. This is so you can always be sure that we have taken everything into consideration, and what you are quoted is what you’ll pay. 

If your temporary building will remain in place for more than 28 days or has a footprint exceeding 100m², it’s likely that planning permission will be required. However, there are many factors to consider, including potential exemptions and the option for retrospective applications. A clear understanding of the planning process can help you avoid delays. It’s also important to be aware of regulatory differences in Scotland, the Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland, as they may influence the requirements.

Yes. We undertake a no-obligation site visit for every installation as standard, before we provide you with a quote for a building – wherever in the UK and Ireland you are located. By physically coming to site, we can assess ground conditions, access, gradient of site and other issues which can affect the installation. 

With our Area Sales Managers based nationwide, we pride ourselves on quick reaction times, enabling us to have a site visit booked within 24 hours of you placing an enquiry. 

Our representative will respond to your initial enquiry and attempt to arrange a site visit on a date and time that is convenient to you.  

Once on site, we’ll measure up, assess if the ground conditions are suitable to build on, check for gradients or potential slopes, and discuss your vision in more detail, all to provide exact structural drawings and an accurate quote at the first time of asking. 

If the ground is unsuitable, for example, we’ll advise the type of groundwork required to proceed with the project. Likewise, if the ground slopes, we’ll factor this adjustment into the legs of the frame. 

If required, we’ll also have a chat about planning permission, and whatever other questions or concerns you have.  

After this, our representative will be in touch with a proposal, which includes your specification, drawing and quotation. We truly understand that investing in a temporary or semi-permanent structure is a big financial commitment and want to ensure you are fully satisfied with our proposal. Only then will we proceed to the order stage, no matter how long it takes. 

Yes. We pride ourselves on maintaining long-term relationships with many of our clients, because they know that we’re only just a phone call away. If your temporary building is properly looked after, and regularly maintained, it will provide decades of use. 

Your handover pack will give you advice on how to care for your temporary building, but we also offer an annual service visit to give additional peace of mind, if you prefer it. And because we know that life isn’t always straightforward, and accidents do happen, our call-out team is always on hand to deal with any accidental damage. What’s more, is that our customers know they can always get in touch if business needs change and you need to relocate or extend your temporary building. 

It all depends on the complexity of the project. Spaciotempo has its own in-house Operations Team who pride themselves on their fast installation times. Your Area Sales Manager will walk you through each and every stage to ensure that you are completely satisfied. 

Our process means we manufacture in house and by virtue, control our own supply chain to deliver solutions in shorter timescales. Generally, from order to delivery it takes around 6-8 weeks for our expert operations team to be on site, but our team will walk you through each and every stage to ensure that you are completely satisfied. 

The install process is always much quicker than a traditional building but depends on the size and complexity of the structure. For example, a small standalone industrial canopy can be installed in a single day, a standard off-the-shelf temporary warehouse in less than a week and a bespoke and heavily customised temporary building up to a few months.    

Our dedicated team will be on hand from initial contact all the way through to after care to guide you through the process. What’s more, the team will provide you with an aftercare pack to ensure your temporary building stays in the best possible condition throughout its lifespan.
