Here for you, every step of the way!

We believe that the service we provide to our customers is as important as the quality of the building we install. At every stage of your journey towards a temporary or semi-permanent building, we will listen, understand your needs and offer you as much or as little support as you need. We offer a number of additional services at every stage, designed to make your life easier.

Site Visit  

We pride ourselves on undertaking a no-obligation site visit for every installation, before we provide you with a quote for a building – wherever in the UK and Ireland you are located. Our team of experienced Account Managers, gives Spaciotempo genuine nationwide coverage and means we are never more than a couple of hours away from your site.

By physically coming to site, we can assess ground conditions, access, gradient of site and other issues which can affect the installation. It also means you can put a face to a name, and explain in more detail what your requirements are, so you can be sure of a solution which reflects your needs.

Furthermore, when you are happy with our solution, we will always come back to site with a member of our operations team, to double check all the detail – to ensure that your installation is as smooth, quick and efficient as you want it to be, with no nasty surprises or hidden costs.


After we’ve visited site and understood your requirements, we will produce a full specification and design for our recommended solution. You might have a requirement for a very straightforward building – or you might have a more complex set of challenges requiring a more bespoke solution.

Our experienced team are skilled in developing the best structural solution for your needs – and our in-house CAD team are experts in bringing this design to life as a full set of technical drawings, and 3D visuals, giving you a genuine feel for what your temporary building will look like inside and out.

We will work with you to specify options such as colour of cladding, door options, heating and air conditioning, plus any bespoke fit-out requirements you might have. Thanks to our online configuration tool, which is linked to our CAD library, we can also work through the designs with you on screen, making changes at the touch of a button.

Planning Permission  

If you’re not that familiar with temporary and semi-permanent buildings, the process of planning permission can be an unnecessary headache. Which buildings need planning?  What if I am only renting the building for a short time?  What’s the difference between planning for temporary and permanent buildings?

Thankfully, Spaciotempo offers a full planning service thanks to our dedicated planning partners, giving you one less thing to worry about. During our initial site visit, simply mention to your account manager that you would like us to take care of planning – and we’ll do the rest. Our experience doesn’t end there – if you have questions about any aspect of your specification, from insulation, fire retardancy, and security, to ground works, drainage and maintenance, we have it covered – simply ask your Account Manager.

Spaciotempo is one of only a handful of temporary building suppliers to manufacture and customise our own aluminium frame. Our manufacturing plant is located just outside Amiens in the Picardie region of northern France, meaning that it can be easily and quickly transported to our UK headquarters in Uttoxeter, or direct to site for seamless installation.

We manufacture two types of frame as standard – our apex roof product, Neivalu, and our curved roof option, Oxygen, but because we are in control of the manufacture ourselves and understand the capability of the product, we are able to deliver bespoke sizes and applications if required.

What’s more our customers can have peace of mind that they are only ever dealing with Spaciotempo, from start to finish, meaning that we are fully accountable, not only for the design and installation of your temporary building, but for its structural integrity and capability. Don’t just take our word for it, all of our temporary buildings come with full structural calculations relevant to the building’s location and all components are guaranteed.

Site Preparation  

One of the key benefits of a temporary building over traditional construction, is the fact that foundations and traditional groundworks are generally not required – meaning you can save time and money on a costly installation.

An aluminium-framed temporary building is usually bolted to the surface using heavy duty base plates, depending on the profile size of your building’s frame – a very simple process, allowing your frame to be erected in no time at all. But if the nature of your site means that you do need to undertake some sort of ground works, you can rely on Spaciotempo’s experienced in-house operations team to manage the process for you as part of your project.

If you don’t have a suitable concrete pad, or other similar surface on which to install the building we can install this at the start of the project. As part of our process, we can also address other issues which may affect the installation of your building, such as poor drainage, or uneven ground. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert at identifying these issues for us, we will always identify any such obstacles at our site visit and discuss a solution with you.

Once you are happy with your specification, and have confirmed your order, we will arrange an installation date for your temporary building. Spaciotempo has its own in-house operations team, who carry out all our installations, as well as our maintenance inspections, repair work and, if you have rented your building, will also remove your building at the end of your hire period.

We never sub-contract installation work to agency crews, because we want our customers to have the peace of mind that their project is being managed by Spaciotempo from start to finish – by a team that is experienced, skilled and accountable.

The fact that we only use our own in-house operations team, means that we are able to install even complex buildings, quickly and without any hassle. Our team have encountered most technical challenges in their time, and have the experience to come up with technically robust solutions, minimising delays to your installation.

Once we have finished the installation, you will of course have the opportunity to review the building with your account manager before you sign off the project.

Interior Fit-Out  

The interior fit out of your building can take it from a blank canvas, to a fully-functioning warehouse, temperature controlled storage, production facilities, film studio, supermarket, garden centre, sports hall, gym or even swimming pool – and many other applications along the way.

Tell us how you want to use your temporary building and Spaciotempo will develop a specification package which will transform your space. From basic detail, such as choice of insulation, lighting, heating and cooling, to partitioning and office space, racking and mezzanine decks, specialist flooring, and a range of doors for pedestrian and vehicle access – the sky’s the limit!

Aesthetics are a major consideration as part of our process. We can even match the colour of your temporary building to existing structures on site, or to your brand colour palate and add corporate livery or other signage to walling, gables and even the roof.

When we hand over your temporary building at the end of the project, it is most important to us that you are happy with both our product and our service. However, at Spaciotempo, this isn’t the end of our process.

We pride ourselves on having long-term relationships with many of our clients, because they know that an account manager or operations customer care team is just a phone call away. If your building is properly looked after, and regularly maintained, it will provide decades of use.

Your handover pack will give you advice on how to care for your building, but we also offer an annual service visit to give additional peace of mind, if you prefer it.  And because we know that life isn’t always straightforward, and accidents do happen, our call-out team is always on hand to deal with any accidental damage.

What’s more, is that our customers know they can always get in touch if business needs change and you need to relocate or extend a building. At Spaciotempo, the possibilities are endless!
