Aston Martin Lagonda – Transport & Logistics – Permanent Paint Shop / Loading Bay

When Aston Martin opened their state-of-the-art Lagonda manufacturing facility in St Athan, Wales, they quickly required an additional extension to support their growing production needs. This new facility needed to seamlessly link to the middle of the three existing super hangars on-site, serving as a paint shop loading bay for the Aston Martin DBX SUV range.

Requirements

Aston Martin needed a semi-permanent structure to function as a paint shop loading bay with direct internal access to the larger paint shop. The facility had to be durable and high-quality while offering flexibility for potential reconfiguration. Additionally, it required customisation options to enhance efficiency and security, ensuring a seamless workflow within the production line.

The solution

Aston Martin entrusted Spaciotempo with the project, leveraging our expertise in modular buildings. The structure, measuring 20m x 25m with a 6m eave height, was designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing facility while providing flexibility for potential future modifications.
